Book Hang!: All Consuming: Why We Eat the Way We Eat Now by Ruby Tandoh

Book Hang!: All Consuming: Why We Eat the Way We Eat Now by Ruby Tandoh

Are you craving a bit more community around the topic of food? This may be the place! Especially if you like erudite & thought provoking non-fiction, plus friendly conversation with like-minded souls.

We’re hosting a hang (yup!)  to discuss Ruby Tandoh’s collection of essays, All Consuming. This fabulous book came out in late 2025, at the same time as a lot of incredible oookbooks. It’s time to single it out from a sea of new releases and give it due consideration.

The author will NOT be joining us in person — it’ll be you and the good egg crew, plus whoever else (triple dare) signs up.

Is this a book club? Well yes, but we want to highlight that this is a no-pressure get together. If you’ve already read the book, great. If you want to read it before we meet, please do. You’re also welcome to attend and read the book after. Or not! We’re not your Grade 11 English teacher.

Tickets are $5 and include drinks and light snacks. The book is available for $30 (Reg. $39).

We’d love to see you!
