A new annual print magazine (after 14 years in the making) from the good people of Roads & Kingdoms, featuring 144 pages of stunning visuals and in-depth storytelling from writers, artists, and photographers around the world. 

Issue 1: 2026 opens with a heartbreaking Letter from the Editor written by R&K co-founder Matt Goulding directly to their late partner, Anthony Bourdain.

In the pages that follow, you’ll find reporting from Lagos, Rome, Tokyo, California, and Caracas, as well as short fiction, photo essays, original illustrations, and interviews. You’ll also find “The R&K 50,” an unranked global list of the restaurants that R&K's fave chefs, writers, and eaters think of as second homes, including contributions from Eric Ripert, René Redzepi, Palisa Anderson, Virgilio Martinez, Matty Matheson, and many, many more.
