These plant-based (read: vegetarian) pan-Asian recipes are an homage to the beloved Aussie author’s Cantonese mother. Comforting and familiar recipes are updated to satiate vegetarian, often vegan and gluten-free regimes too. Some of many highlights: dumplings for every season, whole roasted gochujang cauliflower, tofu "char siu” bao, and an easy and ingenious sheet pan chow mien. Slurp! Includes excellent homemade pantry staples that are free of fish sauce :)
